When buying a new pickup, a truck’s capability is one of the most important factors to consider. Now, with the ever-fluctuating (and almost always high) cost of gas, fuel efficiency is also important.
For buyers who want both, the 2015 Ford F-150 is the answer. When compared to current F-150 models, the 2015 F-150 can tow as much as 1,110 pounds more, haul as much as 530 pounds more, and has a better power-to-weight ratio. And now, the 2015 Ford F-150 fuel efficiency is the highest in its segment, with EPA-estimated ratings of 19 mpg city, 26 mpg highway, and 22 mpg combined.
“We set out to create the future of tough with the new F-150,” said Raj Nair, Ford group vice president, Global Product Development, in a statement. “We are delivering with the toughest, smartest and most capable F-150 ever – and now the highest EPA-estimated fuel economy ratings of any full-size gas-powered pickup in America.”
Ford was able to achieve this rating because of the extensive use of high-strength, lightweight steel and aluminum alloys in the construction of the truck.
The efficient and powerful 2015 Ford F-150 will be arriving at Paul Obaugh Ford soon. Have you added it to your Christmas list yet?
