The all-new 2015 Mustang doesn’t just take the aesthetic design of the beloved American classic to the next level; it is also Ford’s most technologically advanced Mustang, ever. For this reason, it has been named the Official Car of the International CES (Consumer Electronics Show).
“It is very exciting to see an iconic American car like Mustang equipped with state-of-the-art technology,” said Gary Shapiro, president and CEO of the show’s producer, the Consumer Electronics Association. “Automobiles are rapidly becoming mobile technology platforms as consumers demand connectivity along with efficiency and performance in their vehicles.”
Shapiro continued: “With features like upgraded SYNC, Ford automobiles are built with cutting-edge technology that can make driving safer and more enjoyable. We are overjoyed to see Ford return to our show and to have the new Mustang as Official Car of the 2014 CES.”
During the show’s January 7 opening, a press conference will introduce the new Mustang and detail its better-than-ever technology, and the Mustang will receive a place of honor at Ford’s main display area in North Hall.
The International CES takes place in Las Vegas January 7 through 10. Drop us a line at Paul Obaugh Ford if you wish you could make the trip to Sin City to celebrate the Mustang being the official car of the International CES!
