April is a glorious time of year. Flowers are blooming everywhere you look, the temperatures are warming up, and it is the perfect time to head outdoors. Here are some fun events in Staunton this month to help you celebrate the season.
Arbor Day at Montgomery Hall Park
On April 14, from 2 to 6 p.m., head to the park to learn about trees, make some crafts, participate in a seedling giveaway, and enjoy more fun activities.
Eggstravaganza Egg Hunt
Bring the kids to the Montgomery Hall Park soccer complex on Saturday, April 15, from 10 a.m. to noon. There will be age-based egg hunts along with egg coloring, refreshments, and more.
Earth Day Staunton
Celebrate the Earth with a fun program for the whole family. The fun will be held at the Gypsy Hill Park Bandstand on April 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This year’s program is “We’re for the Birds,” and will include live music, face painting, a plant sale, and more.
Join the community celebration of Staunton’s Sears Hill Bridge with music, food, fun, and more. The celebration will be held April 29, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Here at Paul Obaugh Ford, we love being part of the Staunton community and look forward to many of these events each year.
