F-Series Super Duty, World’s Best HD Truck, to Pass Production Milestone

When you have a rough and tumble job—or perhaps even a rough and tumble life—you know how important it is to have the best equipment. If you’re a loyal Ford Motor Company customer, though, you’ve had that covered for the last fifteen years, thanks to the F-Series Super Duty, the world’s best HD truck. Ford has been rolling these trucks, from the F-250 all the way to the F-550, off the line in Kansas City for a very long time, and now they’re close to a milestone: five million Super Duty trucks.

The Kansas City Assembly plant will pass that big milestone sometime this month, so keep your eyes peeled for the big news. Until then, though, we’ll continue to tell you all about the greatness of these hard-working trucks.

“Super Duty trucks are engineered to meet the needs of the toughest customers,” said Doug Scott, Ford Truck group marketing manager. “Their continued sales dominance with these demanding customers proves how hard they deliver.”

In fact, the Super Duty currently owns no less than 44 percent of the heavy duty truck market, and that’s no accident. Today, the Super Duty can get up to 440 horsepower and an unbelievable 860 lb-ft. of torque. With gigantic towing ratings, huge truckbeds, strong design, and eye-catching style, there’s simply nothing better than a Ford Super Duty. They’ll be celebrating five million trucks made in October, and here at Paul Obaugh Ford, we’ll be celebrating right along with them. Come see us today!
