October is Breast Cancer Awareness month as many are aware, and it is a cause that Ford takes very serious. Ford has been pursuing its fight against Breast Cancer for eighteen years now, and has now released a documentary in honor of the fight. The Ford Warriors in Pink, which is the group that Ford operates under to raise breast cancer awareness and funds has spent time creating a documentary that seeks to inspire those who have been affected by the disease.
“Over Ford’s 18 years of support in the fight against breast cancer, we continue to look for new ways to generate awareness and support for the cause, including the release of this ‘Bang the Drum’documentary,” said Tracy Magee, Ford Primary Brand Experiential Marketing manager. “We are proud to have been able to provide the Models of Courage a powerful platform to extend the reach of their inspirational stories to further the mission of Ford’s Warriors in Pink.”
The Documentary called “Bang the Drum: Living Out Loud in the Face of Breast Cancer,” features personal stories from 11 extraordinary women and men who became Ford’s Models of Courage after bringing their Breast Cancer survival stories to Ford. The stories go through the Models of Courage journey of being diagnosed and being inspired to live a full life to show that there is life after Breast Cancer.
The Film will be shown at events throughout October or can be viewed at www.fordcares.com , the Ford Warriors in Pink Website.
