The Ford Motor Company is in the midst of an incredible run producing performance vehicles. This run isn’t a coincidence, of course; Ford has announced that they will be releasing no fewer than twelve performance vehicles from now to the end of the decade. The latest performance car to be unveiled was the new 2016 Ford GT supercar, sporting an all-new silver color and racing stripes to boot.
The silver color is a boon to fans that did not enjoy the blue color of the GT that was revealed back at the North American International Auto Show in January. Now, customers have two great color options to choose from on this halo car. And it will be a true halo car, only available in limited production and not destined for mass-market release.
The GT will have an all-new engine as well, a 3.5-liter V6 engine with EcoBoost technology that can get you over 600 horsepower. The market for the GT will obviously be incredibly competitive, as Craig von Essen, from Ford’s global product communication team, said. “We will have pricing details closer to launch but the Ford GT will be the most exclusive Ford product ever.” Come see us here at Paul Obaugh Ford to learn more about the GT and the rest of the upcoming performance vehicles today.
