Gas prices are continuing their steady climb, but that’s not deterring car buyers from purchasing their favorite pickup trucks. Through the end of the summer, the Ford F-Series stayed atop the leader boards with half a million trucks sold while other automakers saw more than 20% in sales increases for their pickups.
With so much focus on fuel efficiency, we’re happy to see that pickup trucks are continuing to flourish in the market. USA Today reported that truck sales are slanted to reach over two million sales for 2013, reaching the highest sales numbers since 2007.
With Ford poised to unveil their next-generation Ford F-150 in 2014, it looks to us that pickup truck sales have no plans to slow down.
Here at Paul Obaugh Ford, we appreciate the utility, power, hauling capabilities, and the certain toughness that comes along with being a truck owner. Show your love for pickups by coming to see our great selection of F-250s!
